This is a great piece by Robert W. Smith called "The Great Locomotive Chase", no pictures, just listen :) enjoy!
We are playing this in band right now it is so beautiful and my part is fun (2 clarinet)
the trumpet solo got moved to me 🥰 baritone, was such a fun piece to play for uil and spring concert in 7th grade
If anyone else plays a trombone for this, you know that high line at meager 32, my band director, has me a 7th grader playing it🤣
Mb I mean Soli
The absolute HEADACHE I got after playing this song was insane. And I’m not even first trumpet, I’m second and it hurt. Gorgeous song nonetheless
I got to play this in the school band in 10th grade. Conducted by my favorite band teacher. That was our last concert with him before he left for another school. I miss him so much
This is the arrangement by John Wasson. My community band played this arrangement.
Omg...we played this All City Band when I was in Middle School!
I’m playing this in my band concert November 9th
I was in 8th grade when i played this with the high school band. It is a phenomenel piece!!
Our senior high band played this for the concert, whereas I am in beginning band. Our band director left after the concert however so now we have subs for the rest of the year and after the summer we should have a new director. But it really sucks because our director was really nice
This and "In All Its Glory" are his best pieces. Brings back such fond memories of my former students who worked on this piece with me.
Sounds so much like Invicta
My concert band has to play this
I loved playing the solo at the beginning but oh boy that trumpet of ours… was something else.
I’m playing this this year and so far it’s my favorite piece Ive ever played
Gonna play this in Disney land 1 month from now
First clarinet! I'm having so much fun learning this. The rhythm at the end is tripping me up though, but I'm sure I'll get it.
Currently learning this! Definitely the best concert song we have done so far in high school!
チューバ楽しかったなぁ……( ´•̥̥̥ω•̥̥̥`)
I just played it tonight this is a song I will remember it is a very moving piece
I played this song when I was in 7th grade. So many good memories playing the trumpet solo
Playing this At spring concert 🥲💜
or better known by the tenor saxes, "just play c"
This is one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever played
この曲コンクールで吹くので頑張ります💪
gonna audition for the flute solo
Our band gotten this piece today! It's awesome!
I played first trumpet in this song for my schools band when we went to play in Disney land
audio bit crackly
I remember playing this in concert band in junior high school.
I played this song on trombone over 30 years ago. I still remember it by heart. Had to get my horn out and play. John Hyland on trumpet solo.
I played the Tenor Sax in my band and we played this for concerts and competitions. It was memorable . T-T
played this in middle school as first chair trombone, crazy to think that was 5 years ago now
Yeah boii from binfy
小学生のころ吹奏楽部で演奏したことある曲。めちゃめちゃ好きだった。
今度吹くけどなんとも言えない雰囲気が好き。何より楽しそうだし。はやく譜面見てみたい((o(´∀`)o))wkwk
# rip off zelda music
Majestia was composed only a year after the very first legend of zelda game was released, and at that time the only music that was in legend of zelda was in the low audio quality 8 bit that was hard to hear (I bet it sounded a little better with better audio quality). I doubt Swearingen even knew what it was haha
@@glancy0616 you never know he could be a huge Zelda fan
@@reversekidflashno4294 lmao That would be really funny
2nd trumpet😓 i wish I was good
Is it just me or does this belong in a Mario game?
I played this in 1990 for the Singapore Youth Festival Band Presentation along with Swearingen's "Invicta".
Played 1st flute for this in about 7th or 8th grade. So any flute solo in this I had. OMG the memories! I loved this piece :)
Second trombone
1年がソロ吹くってどゆこと、泣
is nobody gonna mention the trumpets 2:00
Just novena
Great piece.
First few seconds sounds exactly like Fate of the Gods.
Honestly one of the best parts of being in 7th grade band is this
We are playing this for a competition and I got the trumpet solo. I'm scared lol
How did it go?
Wow... now that Im listening it on this, ours sound horrible...
